CHRISTMAS 2024: WHEREVER IT LEADS YOU, REACH IT WITH US!

Brescia Mobilità Group actively participates in the Christmas programme of the Municipality of Brescia and launches the campaign “Christmas! Wherever it leads you, reach it with us”. Public transport is always a great way to get around the city and reach the historic centre, especially during the holiday season!

The Single Ticket Sundays are back again this year, a valuable and convenient opportunity to experience the city on board the metro and bus and to indulge in Christmas shopping: every Sunday from 1 to 22 December you can travel on the entire network with a single ticket, valid for the entire day. In December, the metro is also filled with musical suggestions, becoming not only the fast and comfortable means of transport that everyone is familiar with, but also a pleasant place to spend time before or after the journey.

Station San Faustino and the trains will be the stage of musical performances on Saturday 7, 14 and 21 December, from 3.30 to 6.30 p.m.

Moreover, Christmas music will be broadcast over the wire into all metro stations on Sundays and holidays from 1 December to 6 January to contribute to the city’s festive mood.

"Completing the subway celebrations will be Luca Font, an internationally renowned street artist and a leading name in the contemporary art scene, who will decorate one of the subway maintenance buildings at the Via Magnolini depot. The work will begin shortly, but the artists style can already be admired on the bodywork of a train that has been set up, for the first time, also on the external bodywork: to allow art to be enjoyed not only inside the subway stations, but also while travelling. "Finally, the occasion of the subways important anniversary, as well as the year in which Brescia is the Italian Capital of Culture, was taken to publish Arte in Metro, a photographic volume in which the ten years of the subway are recounted through the eyes and works of the artists who have contributed - and will contribute - to making it a true museum of contemporary art.
