3 NEW ELECTRIC BUSES THANKS TO THE PNRR

The Municipal Administration and the Brescia Mobilità Group present the first 3 electric buses purchased thanks to the funds of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) assigned to the Municipality of Brescia.

As part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), with a decree from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility, 8,663,654 euros were allocated to the Municipality of Brescia, of which more than 7,000,000 were entrusted to Brescia Trasporti for the purchase of electric buses. This is an important investment for the renewal of the public transport fleet on rubber that will bring the new electric buses, which will enter service immediately.

The vehicles are equipped with the “The new green fleet” livery that will distinguish this part of the Brescia Trasporti fleet and will highlight how each electric bus saves 34.9 tons of CO2 per year, the equivalent of planting 1,586 trees.

The Brescia Mobilità Group, in synergy with the Municipality of Brescia, continues to look to the future and the most innovative technologies on the market, and is planning further investments: by June of this year, another 3 electric vehicles will be added and by 2026, another 10 electric buses, to which another 6 will be added by 2030.
